Are You Alive After Five? The Knoxville Museum of Art Is!

Screen shot 2013-04-23 at 3.33.52 PMIf you find yourself downtown next Friday, stop by the Knoxville Museum of Art (KMA) to watch its seasonal Alive After Five musical concerts.

Nearing its 20th anniversary, Alive After Five brings up-and-coming and well-known musical artists to the stage. Such names include Boys Night Out (April 26) and Christabel & The Jons (May 17), both of which perform  this spring. Performing in the KMA’s Great Hall creates a unique atmosphere for musicians and guests alike.

Guests are treated to a wide variety of food, ranging from barbeque from F.A.T.S. BBQ to Asian food from Viet Grill. Other food providers include Bayou Bay Seafood House and Dave’s Dog House. Freshly popped popcorn is also provided.

Tickets are $8 at the door at 4:45 p.m. It is free for ages 17 and under. College students and KMA members can get a $4 discount if they bring a valid I.D. The show will last from 6 – 8:30 p.m.
